Bourbon Balls
- 3 cups finley crushed chocolate wafers (about 60 cookies)
- 2 cupspowdered sugar
- 1 cup finley chopped almonds, pecans, or walnuts
- ½ cups fine bourbon whiskey
- ¼ cup light corn syrup, granulated sugar or baking cocoa
Note - traditional wafers or sandwich style,
Oreo©® type cookies will do, but only half the cookies should have
creamy centers. Feel free to bourbon to taste.
- Mix crushed wafers, powdered sugar and pecans in a large bowl.
Stir in bourbon and corn syrup.
- Shape mixture into one inch balls. Roll in granualated sugar.
- Place in air tight container and refridgerate for at least twenty four
hours.
